Waterproofing Project Progress in Azazga, Algeria

Baleh Consulting specialises in below-ground waterproofing, including basements, underground structures, and complex waterproofing interfaces, and provides consulting services internationally. Our work focuses on delivering robust, performance-based waterproofing designs that address the complete waterproofing system, not just individual products, ensuring long-term durability, serviceability, and compliance.

Our waterproofing designs are developed in accordance with local BS 8102.2022, NCC 2022, the relevant local standards, regulations, site conditions, and construction practices, which can vary significantly from country to country. As such, each design is tailored specifically to the project location, use, risk profile, and performance requirements.

This featured project is located in Azazga, Algeria, and commenced approximately two years ago. In December 2025, Baleh Consulting undertook a comprehensive physical site inspection, reviewing the as-built conditions, construction detailing, materials used, and execution on site. This inspection was conducted immediately prior to our travel to Paris to inspect another live project, which is covered in our other videos on this channel.

The purpose of this video is to share practical, real-world insights into below-ground waterproofing, highlighting common challenges, design considerations, and construction practices observed on site.
