Baleh Consulting were engage to design a waterproofing system for a Below-Ground storage space located below the pump out pit.
We were engaged after the ground slab had already been poured. Accordingly, we developed a detailed performance solution incorporating a waterproofing system Types A and B to and across the construction joints between the Rediwalls and the slab, together with a drainage system comprising a floater-controlled automatic electric pump activated by rising water levels. In addition, maintenance and access clearing points were incorporated into the design.
