Description
Woollahra Heritage Building Remediation
The building is a Residential Apartment Building located in Woollahra NSW, classified as Class 2 in the NCC 2022 building classification. The building was constructed CIRCA 1919 and is listed as a Heritage Site.
Scope of work: Baleh Consulting were engage to carry out multiple intrusive and non-intrusive investigations, and prepare a regulated design in accordance with DBP Act 2020 for the concrete repair, and waterproofing of the following areas: Swimming Pool, Upper pool deck, Lower pool deck, Terrace 1, Terrace 2, parapets, and Rooftop. In addition, we coordinated with the structural engineers, the architect, the interior designer, the drainage and stormwater engineer, the quantity surveyor, the contractor, and the client.
Building Class: 2 – Heritage Building
System used: Dual waterproofing system combining Deem-to-Satisfy and Performance Solution pathways to exceed the Performance Requirements in the NCC 2022.
